Volunteer Opportunities

As an all-volunteer organization, ILR depends on our membership to support many functions in the organization. Please consider offering your time and expertise by volunteering for one of our committees. Become part of our team and have some fun in the process.  To become a volunteer contact our Volunteer Coordinators at volunteers@ilralbertus.org.

Class Liaisons

Interact with the Study Group Leaders (SGLs) and provide assistance such as making photocopies or arranging for technical equipment to insure that the SGL has an enjoyable and trouble-free teaching experience. They take attendance at each class and inform the SGL of any schedule or venue changes.

Communication Coordinators

Notify students about class reminders, changes, room assignments, cancellations, etc. by phone or email. They are the single point of contact for the students ensuring that information is communicated quickly. They also communicate with Liaisons to learn of any change from an SGL that would affect students.

Curriculum Committee

Holly Chepow and Stephanie Jatlow, Vice Presidents - Presenting over 80 courses a year, this Committee can always use members with fresh course ideas and contacts.

Volunteer Coordinators

Barbara Abrams and Judith Kibbe - Coordinate all Volunteer Activities for our organization including recruiting and training volunteers and planning recognition events to thank them for their efforts.

Social Events Committee

Susan Fitzgerald, Chairperson - This committee is always looking for members who help with these fun and important social events for the organization.
