Cancellation Policies

Below are our policies for Cancellations and Refunds as well as our Responsibility Waiver.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, and PAYMENT POLICIES

1) Cancellations of Classes:

a) If a member is unable to attend one or more classes that they have registered for and would like to request a refund, they must contact the Registrar in writing (email is okay) and state which class(es) they wish to cancel.

Cancellation requests must be made at least 1 day before the first class to be eligible for a refund.  No refunds will be made for cancellation requests after this time, unless there is a wait list for this class.  If there is a wait list, ILR will contact those on the wait list and a refund will be made if someone is able to attend in your place.

b) If a member pays for a class that is full, they will be waitlisted.  If a seat does not open up, a refund will be issued after the first class.

c) If a class is cancelled by the Study Group Leader, ILR or the facility where the class is held, refunds will be issued to all registered participants.  Individual member requests are not necessary.

2) Cancellations of Bus Trips:

a) If a member is unable to attend a bus trip that they have registered for and would like to request a refund, they must contact the Registrar or the Bus Trip Coordinator in writing (email is okay). The amount of the refund or partial refund shall be made at the discretion of ILR.  No refunds for fixed costs (such as the cost of the bus) or costs already incurred (such as prepaid admissions) unless another person is found to take the place of the person requesting the cancellation.

Cancellation requests must be made at least 1 day before the trip to be eligible for a refund, unless there is a waitlist and someone else is able to attend instead.  No refunds will be made for cancellation requests after this time. (Note: nonmembers will be allowed on bus trips only if the bus is not full.)

b) If a bus trip is cancelled by ILR or the bus company or other tour providers, full refunds will be made to all registered participants.  Individual member requests are not necessary.
