Hayre, Sheila

Sheila Hayre received degrees in psychology and anthropology from Stanford University and from Yale Law School. She clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and worked as a staff attorney at the New Haven Legal Assistance Association, Inc., Sheila taught in the Faculty of Law at the National University of Singapore. She is a Visiting Associate Professor and the Waring and Carmen Partridge Faculty Fellow at Quinnipiac University School of Law ans supervises students at the Civil Justice Clinic. Sheila is also the faculty advisor for the International Human Rights Society and for the Human Trafficking Prevention Project. She currently chairs the Committee on Human Trafficking for the Connecticut Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors of Connecticut Legal Services and on the Grievance Panel for the Judicial Districts of New Britain and Hartford. She was recently chosen as a James W. Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation.
