Kathy Mathews, RN has been a registered nurse for more than 35 years. She began her career in organ donation and transplantation in 1980 as a Clinical Transplant Coordinator in PA and NJ, coordinating many kidney and pancreas transplants. In 2002, a move to CT resulted in her continued work in organ transplant at YNHH. Ultimately, this led to her joining the team of New England Donor Services in 2007. Currently Kathy is the In-House Coordinator for New England Donor Services at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
