Gustave L. Davis MD


is a clinical professor of Pathology (retired) at Yale University School of Medicine. He graduated with a BA in Humanities from Union College and an MD from SUNY. Following training in Pathology at Barnes Hospital/Washington University at St. Louis Medical School, he remained on the faculty until 1981 when he returned east to chair the pathology department at Bridgeport Hospital and teach at Yale. He has been a competitive athlete since high school and is currently an age-group master's national champion race walker. In retirement, while attempting to play classical guitar, he combines medical and musical interests by studying the lives of famous composers.
